Our clothes are all made in East Africa and many have bright vibrant patterns. We also have traditional Masaai Shukas (blankets) Tyre shoes and beaded belts.

Our African jewelery is all hand made by ladies self help groups in and around Nairobi, all of our Masaai jewelery is hand made by Masaai ladies in South West Kenya.

All our art at Akamba is fairtrade at a grass roots level as we know most of the artists, many of whome have become great friends over the years. Wooden and soapstone carvings should be polished with a beeswax to keep the shine and larger wooden carvings should be kept away from radiators and fires to prevent the wood from cracking.
