Akamba in Kenya

Kenya is the heart and soul of Akamba, we love the place, the People, The Landscape, The Animals and we try to give as much to Kenya as possible. We have a huge team in Kenya who make Akamba here in The West Midlands possible, inparticular we have Irene, Castro, Peter, Justus and Wachira who make it all happen.

As well as having all our art commisioned in Kenya, we also support Tea and Coffee growers and many small cottage industries in the slum areas of Nairobi. Chris being an artist plays a huge role in the design of our art and loves to create new pots, sculptures and paintings.

We are also building a luxury safari lodge on the edge of Tsavo East National Park, we will keep you updated on the progress of this very exciting project.
